Is the weather report actual news?
As of 6:16, yesterday evening, while I was on the stationary bike at the gym, the weather report was calling for 3-5 inches of snow around Boston and points south of the Mass Pike.
We have already had one long run in snow, however, other than that 2-inch coating on a Saturday morning, we have not had to deal with any snow accumulation. Same story for today.
It actually turned into a nice day. Even with the brief period of snow flakes during, it was in the low 30’s, and relatively no wind. I put on too many layers thinking that the weather forecast might have actually been important news.
But is it? It is such a great mystery. There is no real way of knowing how accurate a weather forecast might be even 24 hours ahead. I’ll take it. The sun came out this afternoon but I took a nap instead.
