I’m fundraising for the first time this winter-any tips that have worked for you?

What are you raising money for? Make sure you connect your cause to your donors. They will likely be asked by a lot of people so make them/their money/ and what they can do to help you very import—and understandable.

Write thank-you notes and send them to your donor’s no later than a week after they donate to you. Use snail-mail and emails for your appeals. No one is going to get annoyed that you asked.

Have an event if you can. Bar night with raffle items. Bachelor/Bachelorette date auctions. Bar Crawls. Bake Sale.
