Excited to be a part of something BIG, heck, bigger than BIG
This was posted today on the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge runner’s bulletin board. We’ve got a long way to go, but I know we will be there some day. Great words, Chris.
I just want to say how excited I am to be a part of this. I spend most of my time on my job and family, it is a very different experience for me to be working towards something bigger. Bigger than myself and bigger than my family. Big enough to really become the biggest thing in the history of “big things” if you think about it.
I hope that they one day turn the DFCI buildings into museums about a long since conquered disease called cancer, and that we all take pride in knowing that we provided a few bricks to build that museum. That, my fellow fundraising runners, would be really, really BIG!
